Went to the California State Railroad Museum in the afternoon. It is outstanding, with major exhibits about the building of the transcontinental railroad, railroad work and travel by train (dining, sleeping and mail cars). The Roundhouse has locomotives and cars from the mid-1800s through the late Twentieth Century. Here are a few photos from the museum. I'll also add a few to my previous post from Day 5, May 10, about the Transcontinental Railroad.
